About Aging Services of North Central Massachusetts

Nearly 50 Years of Excellence

ASNCM is a private, non-profit agency, incorporated in 1974, that employees case managers and nurses to assist those who need help to remain independent in their own homes in safety, comfort, and dignity. Our major source of funding is the Executive Office of Elder Affairs, which oversees several programs designed to promote independent living for the elderly and support for their caregivers through a statewide network of ASAPs. We also receive funding from the Division of Medical Assistance which allows us to offer a range of services to younger disabled adults as well as older adults. Other sources of funding are grants from public and private sources, such as the Central Massachusetts Agency on Aging, which help make it possible for us to provide a comprehensive array of services and programs to address the needs of older adults and their caregivers.

Coupled with our commitment to continuous quality improvement and service excellence is our nearly 50 years of experience in supporting older adults and their loved ones. Aging Services of North Central Massachusetts offers comprehensive assessments, information and outreach, coordination of consumer-focused, cost effective in home services with the purpose of empowering older adults to live in safety, with dignity and respect.
